Event details
We are pleased to offer the second workshop in our Reaching Out: CT COLT Professional Learning Series: Releasing Your Negative Thought Patterns (No More “Monkey Mind”) presented by Christine Rapp Dombrowski, Ph.D., finding dharma llc, on Tuesday, 2/1 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Do you spend a lot of time in your thoughts with stories of what you should do or what might happen? Do you wake up with to-do lists running through your mind? Do you feel like your life is dictated by outside demands?
In this workshop we will look at what cognitive psychology tells us about how these thought patterns and beliefs develop, how they can affect our lives, and how mindful practices can help free us from their negative impact. Through various exercises we will have the opportunity to identify some of our individual thought patterns creating stress/anxiety/worry in our lives, and then begin to mindfully and compassionately release and shift them to ones of empowerment and self-love.
Christine is a mindfulness and spiritual teacher & mentor, writer and speaker. As a curious student of all things spiritual, she has devoted her life to the study and practice of spirituality and mysticism. Her passion for teaching and writing focuses on her sharing what she has learned from her own Soul Journey and spiritual studies with others so they can connect with their Higher Selves empowering them to live an authentic life based on their own truths. Her dynamic, engaging, and inspirational classes and coaching sessions create a supportive environment where the participants can: open themselves up to deep and personal soul reflection, explore new ideas, and choose to move forward on their own unique Spiritual Journey and bring their unique gifts to the world...click here to read more of her biography.
Each session in this professional learning series will begin with thirty minutes of live presentation (which will be recorded and available afterwards), followed by an optional debrief. There will be additional sessions, each with a different presenter and topic, offered from 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on 3/18 and 5/10. For additional information, please visit the event website.
