Event details
We are pleased to offer the fourth virtual workshop, via Zoom, in our CT COLT Professional Learning Series: Engaging All Learners, One App at a Time, presented by Melissa Tubbs, on Tuesday, 5/11 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Melissa Tubbs is a French teacher at E.O. Smith High School, where she has spent the last 8 years of her 14 year teaching career. She is an active member of CT COLT and AATF, and her program was recently awarded the AATF Exemplary Program with Honors” distinction. She is especially proud of her work developing a project-based curriculum supported by Mastery learning, and the robust World Language Peer Tutoring program developed by her department at E.O. Smith. She lives in Willington with her husband and son and their three rescue pets.
Each session in this professional learning series will begin with thirty minutes of live presentation (which will be recorded and available afterwards), followed by an optional debrief. There will be additional sessions coming up in summer 2021. For additional information, please visit the event website.
Registration for this workshop is free for CT COLT members and is $10 for non- members. As we are offering four workshops in this series, non-members who intend on participating in more than one session may save money by joining CT COLT, which costs $30 per year. If you are not already a member, you can join through the registration process or you can start that process now by clicking here.
